Tarantulas in Belize 2007 December

This is a photo of two tarantulas in Belize from 2007 December. I was in a town called Roaring Creek, Belize. Belize is a country that used to be called British Honduras. It is situated directly southeast of Mexico. There were tarantulas under every rock. We found them everywhere. 

I am glad I waited 13 years to post a photo from this time in my life. I have had this blog for 13-14 years now. I get writers block a lot. I am trying to think about what to say about the image. 

 As you can see they are in a bucket. The obvious is quite apparent. However, we had a stick. What we did with that stick I do not remember but, I know the tarantulas were not harmed in anyway. 

I will post this to Facebook so my friends can see. When I came home from Belize I did not have many friends to share this with. It is hard to come up with things to say as I am writing. This bucket and these tarantulas are one of a kind and so is the stick. Since this was 13 years ago the tarantulas are long since dead. Unless they have a very long lifespan that is longer than 13 years. I am not a tarantula expert.
